Blog Name

I wanted to name this blog something that reflected my feelings about eating gluten-free and lactose-free.  My concern was also for the audience, as the purpose of the blog is not to exclude anyone, whether you eat the way I do or not.  You are free to choose what foods you put in your body.  We all make choices that change our own lives or keep them the same.  Each and every day we choose to listen to our bodies when they crave sweets or baked goods, or when they want red meat or white meat, or when they want something spicy hot or cool and refreshing.

This blog is not a place where I will preach to you.  I will however give my food testimony about how much my life has changed for the better since I have changed my diet.  If it helps you then please follow the blog, feel free to comment and disagree politely or agree and give your take.

If you post hateful or negative comments without purpose or reason I will remove your privileges.

In some sense, the reason I wanted to call it "Choose Free" was that, once I stopped eating wheat products and lactose products, it no longer became a choice for me to do so, I was free to live again without the severe digestive and emotional problems I had suffered.
Because I was putting things in my body that my body didn't accept, I was only hurting myself.  I started making choices to change what went in to my body; my body responded by change for the better.

Another reason is that we are free to choose.  Sometimes we do not believe we can choose something that will help us.  But we can.  We can change for the better, and help others do so as well.  We think we do not have a choice, but we always do; if something is unhealthy for you, you do not have to eat it.  Bottom line.

If it tastes good, it could be something your body likes; but if you only eat what you like, you could become a diabetic very quickly.  So, this blog is more about having a balanced diet while still enjoying what you eat.
